Worst and Funniest MLS Photos

I'm sorry if you were the photographer of one of these MLS photos but these are just plain wrong or funny.  Sit back and scroll and be prepared to laugh and maybe cry that these photos made it out to the public eye.

Lawrence Kansas Real Estate

I guess we can at least be thankful this Realtor at least had "some" clothes on.

These two were for an upscale downtown loft listing.  The "I don't care what the place looks like, I'm going to take the photo anyway" prize winner.

Lawrence Kansas Real Estate

Why doesn't the Realtor just come out and say it, "There's just not enough parking at this place!"

Lawrence Kansas Real Estate

Has anyone ever figured out why there is usually a big picture window alongside a jetted tub?

Lawrence Kansas Real Estate

Who "screened" this photo for inclusion?

Lawrence Kansas Real Estate

Hey, it's May, not December!  Or are they just getting ready early?

Lawrence Kansas Real Estate

Were some toddlers sneaking in to get to the liquor in the cabinet or what?

Lawrence Kansas Real Estate

Do the Coneheads live here?

Lawrence Kansas Real Estate

What are we selling here?

Lawrence Kansas Real Estate

"Who's turn was it to clear the table after supper?"

Lawrence Kansas Real Estate

This just plain wrong!

Lawrence Kansas Real Estate

"Peek a boo!  I see you!"

Lawrence Kansas Real Estate

Well, at least they made the bed!

Lawrence Kansas Real Estate

Ya think?

Lawrence Kansas Real Estate

"We're moving because it was just too much grass to mow all the time!"

Lawrence Kansas Real Estate

"Showering just wears me out.  I think I'll just have a seat."

Lawrence Kansas Real Estate

"I'm hoping for parole next week.  Really!  I'm not horsing around!"

Lawrence Kansas Real Estate

"I'm tired of mowing this place.  Will someone please buy it from me?"

Lawrence Kansas Real Estate

"What do you mean you don't know where the boundaries are?  There's a big black line running all around the property!"

Lawrence Kansas Real Estate

"Man, I really need to get my glasses checked."

Lawrence Kansas Real Estate

"Hey mom, can we have a yellow kitchen."  "No mom, we should have a red kitchen."  "Mom, they're both wrong.  We should have a blue kitchen."

Lawrence Kansas Real Estate

"Hey Dad.  Can we please get this house?  It will be just like that Fun House we went in at the carnival where everything was turned different ways.  Besides, I can turn the lights on and off with my toes."

Lawrence Kansas Real Estate

"I can't help there's water on the floor!  It won't stay in the tub!"

Lawrence Kansas Real Estate

"I just couldn't put up with the neighbor's mess any longer."

Rob-Thanks for the chuckle.  I needed to laugh tonight.  My fave was the one with the dog squatting in the yard.

Lawrence, you did not find that picture of the dog on the MLS!!! No way was that online.  That's just awful.  I laughed so hard I almost fell off my chair.  I enjoy photography as a hobby, but in my heart of hearts I'm a perfectionist about it and I really love it.  I can't imagine doing that to my client.  & if this is the seller's idea, may I suggest you take the wheele man, because you're about to hit that tree.  Why would some people think the picture is trivial?  We give our business card attention to detail; why not the picture that'll be viewed by thousands of us?  By the way, also pay attention to how you're spelling it and typing in those directions.  This is even worse.  These pictures where really hysterical.  Thanks a lot.

Ya at least they have some photo.  I love it when a house in on the MLS and has no photos at all.  The buyers just go right past it.

Those photos were great. It always amazes that agents think having a lot of photos is better than having a few good photos.

Talk about pet peeves. It's amazing to me how people can get a multi-million dollar listing in my area and then put only one very fuzzy and crappy photo of the place on the MLS.

My favorite shot is the one with the dog pooing. They HAD to have waited to get that in the shot. Maybe to give the home that "Pet Friendly" feel.

Rob,

I see this everyday, I don't think that the agents even exam their photos.  The other thing I notice is many misspellings in their comments or comments that make no sense what so ever.   If they can not take good photos they should have someone else take them.

Thanks for sharing.

These are a riot!  Were they really in your mls?!?

Those are some good pics.  I have seen my share of bad photos on our MLS.  What are those agents thinking????
Posted by Sean Dankers (Realty World Select) about 5 years ago

HA HA HA HA HA!!!  The dog pooing was great!  ROFLMBO!!!

I saw one the other day of just the floor...now, it wasn't a particularly nice floor, nor a bad floor, just plain boring tiles.  But it was included anyway.

*roll eyes*

LOL I love this stuff.

Yes, every single one of these photos was from a Lawrence Kansas Real Estate area listing.  What is amazing is that I only went through about 1/20 of all homes in the area market so multiply this sample list by 20 and you can see how sad this issue really is.

When I get caught up, I will add some more so when you see the blog has been updated take a look again.

Thanks!

Rob
