http://activerain.com/blogsview/46514/5-Mminute-Open-Houses tells about the five minute open house. Generally, I prefer 5 minute open houses to 10 minute open houses. People can tell in 5 minutes whether they like the house or not. They can always schedule another showing for a longer 2nd look.
It allows people to come in anonymously and leave the same way if they choose. If they want to give me their name and number or name and emal address they can have a chance to win the gift certificate. Most enter the contest.

Rob, let me know how those 10 minute Opens go. Have you held any yet??? I recently had a one hour open in our town where two hours or 1 1/2 Opens are standard. I had eleven couples the first week and six the second, which is a pretty good turn out.
