Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow...
Lawrence Kansas real estate has been covered with a beautiful blanket of snow. Above is the view we woke up to this morning from our master bedroom window.
Below are some photos that are views from various other windows in our home. Most of the views are of trees and bushes in our yard while others show the neighborhood around us. Lawrence Kansas real estate experiences 4 distinct seasons. Let me help you find a home here where you can wake up to great variety in weather from day to day.

View to the south on the 300 block of Rockfence Place.

Two skylights coated with snow on our shake roof with shake siding shown.

Here are some of the rocks that kind of make a fence out front of our home hence the name of the street Rockfence Place.

Branches of trees loaded with snow.

Bush out front...

Bush by front door...

Bush on the south side of our home...

Bush out back just off the deck...

Neighborhood to the north across Riverview Road that I could not get up the hill on or up our driveway until they plowed it.

Neighborhood to the west from our bedroom window.
More photos coming...
Thanks!

Very pretty. But I'll take the beach thank you, lol.
Got shovel?
Redbud tree out our bedroom window...
Nice climbing tree out front that can be seen out our living room window but this view is from our guest room.
Climbing tree just outside our living room windows.
Tree branch artwork..
The pole in the backyard is where the hummingbird feeder hangs during spring, summer, and fall.
Our front steps after our son, Zach, shovelled the snow only to have some more snow accumulate. The solar powered step lights don't get much sun with the snow piled up on top of the panels.
Hope all of you in California, Florida, Hawaii and other warm places enjoy seeing what it is like during the winter months in Kansas and hope my brother Lucky (on AR), Realtor in the Quad-Cities likes the photos of our home and yard that he hasn't seen yet. He probably has snow up there by now too! Here's the link to Lucky's blog.
Again, if you're looking for four seasons weather, try the Lawrence Kansas real estate market out. There's a whole lot more than just our yard that I will have to share with you.
Visit Lawrence photos page on Localism.com to see our home in the summer as well as other photos I have taken as well as those from Tanya Kulaga, another Lawrence Realtor who is from our office.
Thanks Laurie! Yes, as mentioned in my comment, son Zach shovelled this time but both of us were at it a few weeks ago when the snow was even heavier.
By the way, my wife and I love beaches too but variety is nice and the snow doesn't stay around too long. Our favorite beach is Ruby Beach in Washington State but there are others like Virginia Beach area, Myrtle Beach area, Long Island New York, Hawaii, the Oregon coast, etc. that we hit whenever we can.
By the way, I just saw Lucky posted his Active Snow blog today as well at http://activerain.com/blogsview/45076/Iowa-Winters so you can see the town where we grew up; Davenport Iowa.
Rob
Rob,
I missed this before. I was probably busy shoveling at the time! You probably just waited a few hours and it melted!
These are the only pictures that I have seen of your new house. By the way, congratulations!
Lucky :)
