Lawrence Kansas Real Estate below has a nice patio in the backyard and then there is a hill that slopes down gradually. They could have easily just put a deck in and had a stairway to make up for the height of the home, but the builder (or homeowner) took the time to fill up that backyard with dirt to make a gradual hill. It is nice to be able to look into the backyard and see what is going on and when you have a deck, half of the backyard is not in your view because the deck is in the way. I think the yard in this home is very well designed.
