I try to always wear my pins. My Realtor pin, my ePro pin, my GRI pin, and my ABR pin. Next month I will have my CRS pin and will wear that one too. I was asked by a staff person in my office if I change them to a new shirt every day. I said I do. She thought that would be too much of a bother.
Well, yes, it is a bother but it is a bother with benefits. Besides being a conversation starter where people ask me questions on the market, on investing, on home buying, their home's value, etc., I get the opportunity to share with them that I have taken multiple graduate level courses following the very minimal requirements to get my license. I share that they will want to make sure they get a Realtor, hopefully myself, who will do much more than just the minimal by spending hundreds of hours in the classroom.

So am I all alone out there on this or do the rest of you wear your pins?
Thanks and "Don't keep me a secret--I'm never too busy for your referrals!"

Rob,
Congratulations on all of these designations! It represents your commitment to learning our trade to better assist your clients.
I like to wear my Realtor(R) pin; my Mel Foster Company pin; my Mel Foster Chairman's Club pin with diamonds in it for each year that I achieved the highest sales club in our company; my Kiwanis pin with "21" on it representing 21 years of perfect attendance in the greatest service club in the world; my Kiwanis "Ruby K" pin representing over 10 new members that I sponsored into our club (including the first woman); my Kiwanis Hixon Award pin (for donating over $1,000 to I.D.D. - Iodine Deficiency Disorder); my Kiwanis Past President pin; my Chordbuster's Barbershop Chorus pin with a "3" on it called A Man of Note for sponsoring 3 new members into our group; and my United Methodist pin with the cross and flame.
These pins are on different suits so I don't have to keep piercing new holes all over the place. They do get noticed and do spark conversation as you stated.
The one pin that I would like to have is the 50,000 point pin with Active Rain. I saved this special comment for my special older brother, who invited me to Active Rain, as this comment just put me over the 50,000 point mark!
I want a pin!

Hey... Congrats younger brother on your 50K achievement!
Rob,
Thank you!!! Thank you!!! Thank you!!!
Should I use super glue to attach it to my suit coat?
