Does Television Marketing Work?

Hi,

I bought some local television marketing on KSHB-TV http://www.nbcactionnews.com/Click here to see my 15 second commerical.  There is also a 30 second commercial where I am one of the two Realtors featured.

My questions are, 1) How many Active Rainers have used tv commercials/marketing? and 2) What results did you get from it?  The spots start on Wednesday on tv and on the tv station's website.

June 2007 MLS Stats for Baldwin Kansas- Homes that SOLD

June 2007 brought the sale of 7 Baldwin Kansas homes which is an increase from the 5 homes SOLD in May.  In May the average was $232,740 but this past month the average was only $215,786.

Baldwin Kansas real estate traditionally has the third largest number of SOLD homes each month in the county and also will usually have the third highest average price of homes SOLD.  Lawrence is number one and Eudora is number two.

In all of Douglas County real estate, $540,000 was the highest price and $40,000 was the lowest price with the average being $194,650.  This compares with $575,000 as the highest price and $46,500 was the lowest price with the average being $187,595 in May.

Average DOM (days on market) for the county was 87 vs. May was 88 (homes selling only one day faster).

Eudora Kansas real estate traditionally has the second largest number of SOLD homes each month in the county and also will usually have the second highest average price of homes SOLD.  Lawrence is number one and Baldwin is number three.

June 2007 brought the sale of 65 Northwest Lawrence Kansas homes which almost doubles the 33 homes SOLD in May.  In May the average was $206,403 but this past month the average was $233,517.

Northwest Lawrence Kansas real estate traditionally has the largest number of SOLD homes each month in the county and also will usually have the highest average price of homes SOLD.

June 2007 brought the sale of 22 Northeast Lawrence Kansas homes vs. the 21 homes SOLD in May.  In May the average was $158,639 but this past month the average was only $153,157.

June 2007 brought the sale of 33 Southeast Lawrence Kansas homes vs. the 20 homes SOLD in May.  In May the average was $154,072 but this past month the average was only $143,285.

Northeast and Southeast Lawrence Kansas real estate traditionally have the lowest number of SOLD homes each month in Lawrence and also will usually have the lowest average price of homes SOLD.

June 2007 brought the sale of 31 Southwest Lawrence Kansas homes which almost doubles the 18 homes SOLD in May.  In May the average was $222,353 but this past month the average was only $192,104.

Southwest Lawrence Kansas real estate traditionally has the second largest number of SOLD homes each month in Lawrence and also will usually have the second highest average price of homes SOLD.

June 2007 brought the sale of 5 rural Douglas County homes which was the same as the previous month.  However in May the average was $194,820 but this past month the average was $324,000.

In all of Douglas County real estate, $540,000 was the highest price and $40,000 was the lowest price with the average being $194,650.  This compares with $575,000 was the highest price and $46,500 was the lowest price with the average being $187,595 in May.

Average DOM (days on market) for the county was 87 vs. May was 88 (homes selling only one day faster).

48 had 4 bedrooms

92 had 3 bedrooms
